My daughter hated this so much . She was under 1 and it was way too big where it secured to so she would yank it off . It has cushion but I have hard wood floors sometimes depending how hard she fell it didn’t really help much but she was just learning, wasn’t the most durable either . It’s not heavy at all , you just put on head and secure with the Velcro snap thing .

The fit is a little big on my 7 month old. Either he has a small head or this runs big. It’s comfortable because he doesn’t try to take it off. It has a cute pattern. We use it during tummy time or practice sitting. Since he started crawling this eases our worries. It has thick padding around the head and over the top it’s not as thick. It’s easy to use for the most part. If your baby is squirmy like mine it will be hard to use. One of my top safety items. You can see in the picture the gap it has from the top of his head to the helmet.

Thanks to this, Mi.Baby does not hit his head, I recommend it to 1000.
